Privacy policy
Last updated 13 October 2026
Flour & Folio helps you collect, cook from and print your recipes. This policy explains what we store, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Your account details: email address, and your name if you sign in with Google.
- What you add: recipes, cookbooks, notes, photos, voice recordings and links you import.
- Your settings, such as Cooking Mode preferences and default byline.
How we use it
Only to run the app for you: saving your recipes, showing them to people you share a cookbook with, and producing printable books. We don't sell your data, show ads, or use tracking cookies.
AI processing
When you use Shape into a recipe, import a link or transcribe a recording, that content is sent to an AI service to process it and the result is returned to you for review. It isn't used to advertise to you.
Sharing
Your cookbooks are private unless you invite someone. People you invite can see that cookbook's finished recipes, according to the role you give them.
Storage and security
Your data is stored with our hosting provider, and access is restricted to your account and the people you share with. Photos and recordings are kept in private storage and are only shown through short-lived links.
Keeping and deleting data
Deleted cookbooks and recipes stay in Recently deleted for 30 days, then are removed for good. You can delete your whole account at any time in Settings, which permanently removes everything you've saved.
Your rights
You can access, correct or delete your information at any time from within the app. For other privacy questions, email us at flourandfolio@gmail.com.
